Dancing in Jaffa was the opening night film at DocAviv, TelAviv’s International Documentary Film Festival. The stars of Dancing in Jaffa were present to introduce the film and show off some of the moves they learned from Pierre. (embed video). It was the first time the children saw the film and re-united with Pierre since he taught them. In addition to a hugely successful screening, the Jaffa team went home with the award for best editing, conferred on the film’s editors Philip Shane and Bob Eisenhardt.
